Events & Non-Profit Organizations benefitted through the efforts of Andrew Deutsch’s Family and ROLLMODEL Skateboards : Annual Skate Jam and Contest/ Pineridge Reservation – ROLLMODEL boards were donated to this annual skateboard contest in Pineridge Reservation, South Dakota. Jim Murphy, hosts the event through his skateboard company http://woundedkneeskateboards.net/. The boards made a huge impact on the kids that live on the reservation, who have few opportunities to buy their own skateboard equipment. At Sessa Skate Program for kids with disabilities, we focus on working with kids with disabilities, will be running a few skate clinics in September this year. We were able to supply them with a few decks for their project! Boards For Bros. We are teaming up with another organization called http://boards4bros.org/. The goal of this partnership is to assemble “ready-to-ride” complete skateboards using the ROLLMODEL decks and donated accessories from boards4bros. The ability to make these boards into completes will really make a difference to kids who would otherwise be unable to buy the needed parts for a complete. Helping Communities Through Skateboarding Events
Contest in Pineridge Reservation (prizes for participants) — Annual Halloween Contest at Northside Skatepark in Fort Collins, CO (prizes for contestants and volunteers) — Hands On Workshops (griptape for boards the kids made in workshop) — Volunteer Appreciation (boards were given to our most devoted helpers) — Summer Skateboard Camps (prizes for the kids who went above and beyond each week) — Emet (Emet is a local skateboarder who is extremely talented. We make sure he is set with boards and he has really helped push the brand. He is wearing a ROLLMODEL shirt in one of photos). CUBA: “A few of our staff and volunteers just returned from a trip to Cuba to help build some skateparks down there. While they were there, they connected with a group called https://www.skatecuba.org/ to assist with some projects. We loaded them up with a box of ROLLMODEL decks to give to the kids and for their program. Here are a few images from our trip!” – Andy Weiss – Executive Director

SKATEBOARD ART TRIBUTE TO ANDREW
At this Gallery X Skate Event, we carry on the dream and legacy of Andrew Deutsch. To Roll On.
It is about all our dreams to help people connect and not take desperate measures
To let them know they have people to roll on with
These artists from around the country turned that skate dream
Into honoring art and culture
With hopes to keep connecting to all they can
They’ve turned a blank slate. Filled with his energy and infectious
Smile into efforts to fulfill that dream through arts and skate both
Here – At Big Culture and Art Fest. Happening April 1st, 2024
We hope in moments that you aren’t sure
About your next step that you notice a
Passing by board r an artist painting and
Know that you aren’t as alone as you feel.
Stay connected with your community
Instead of turning inward, what if we all reached for
Each other..While we ROLL ON.
ROLL On forever, Deutsch
We loved you in life, and we continue to love you now.
